Sparing time

Mizu arrives swiftly after leaving the barracks of his squad. He stops and sits on the middle point of the hill. Drawing his zanpaktou he holds it in preparation to release it to his shikai form.

"Wonder if i should.." looking at the blade once again he says "do ya want to show yourself?" he asks. after a moment he says back to the blade "well if you only want to in bankai today thats fine" he laughs

"Hmmm good chance he wont go to bankai then" he chuckles to himself as he waits for Ito to arrive

Ito arrives much like usual his reiatsu signaling his arrival long before he actually appeared. "Sorry for the wait," He says while tossing the haori onto the ground next to him. The rather estranged sight of a blood stained kimono the first thing aside from his height was what could come to mind. Followed by what clearly was seen underneath the traditional shinigami garb. At his side once more was his blade though he clearly had no guard about himself right then.

"Well its a honor to spar with you," Ito says giving a slight bow before his body slides into stance left foot in front and his right slid back, with both hands out and in front open palmed. His upper body was leaned forward slightly.

Ito's entire body while the same was putting out reiatsu to the point it made a pillar rising out of his body. "Ready when you are, I'll start off using my body and go from there," He says with a loud shout that had the tone that was laid back and filled with enjoyment.

Red sat on the roof of her barracks soaking in the warming heat of he suns rays. Faint fluctuations in reiatsu characterized members of two captain level fighters. Red's eyes twitched under there sleepy resolve. She soon quietly moved towards the outer edge of the barracks towards the Tenth's direction. As the captain of the tenth she was in charge of the greater safety in soul society. She had a hunch that Mizu would once again want a spar. She heard once that There was a spar with a former captain a while ago and nearly leveled the whole barracks. She was sure that today she would need to watch these two captains. Skillfully she bobbed out of view as the reiatsu changed spots to the usual training area of Mizu. Red lazily made her way over to the hill and hid in the shadows of the trees. Her haori flapped slowly in a gust of wind. She could now see who was going to spar with Mizu the Captain of the eleventh ito. Red smiled and waited for an interesting fight.

Ito arriving at the spot near Mizu bows and takes his stance. Mizu getting up from sitting down "and it is an honour for me too he smiles to the captain", taking in Ito's stance and zanpaktou he rembers that it is always in it's shikai form. "well since your in shikai it is only fitting that i do the same" he says to his opponent

Lifting his zanpaktou he spins it in his hand and calls for the release "Drench! Umi Kurasshu!", spining the zanpaktou in his hand it glows and extends to form a trident, water flows from the spiral shape at the bottom and from the trident end, the water flowing and forming a circle around him hovering just above his ankles as this happens lightning forms and circles the water that was released as well as either end of the trident.

"Well Ito meet Umi Kurasshu... and now if your ready, as am I" Mizu grins a mischevious grin, thinking to himself 'well at least a barracks wont get destroyed this time',positioning himself to use shunpo, to see if Ito will make the first move or wait.

Ito watches carefully "Nice to meet it," he says as his reiatsu increases further. Like a raging tornado Ito begins moving at rather high velocity towards Mizu matching close to shunpo speed with normal running."Don't get to relaxed now, I'm a specialist in overall physical combat," he says before vanishing from view for a split second as he shifts to the left and jumps into the air. Like a small meteor Ito falls down towards Mizu's head left leg held out for a rather colossal leg drop.

A smile on Ito's face the entire moment while his reiatsu continued to expand wildly with no attempt to bother controlling it right then. While falling Ito grabs his own zanpakutou and tosses so that it would land safely next to the trees the saya sticking into the ground as easily as the blade would. "Well since I don't intend to use that just yet I'll keep it out of the way," Ito mutters to himself. As a devilish grin appears on his face that was as natural to how he looked as the murderous looking eyes he had. Right about halfway to Mizu's head and still in the air Ito's Reiatsu stops expanding while clearly equivalent to bankai at that point in spirit pressure, it would be quite clear that Ito was no different from the predecessors to his squad just as monstrously powerful even in shikai without the weapon on hand.

Ito obviously not caring about controling his reiatsu. Jumping he throws his sword to the side and attacks from above after running at great speed with a downward kick. Mizu thinks 'oh crap'

Before impact all he can think of doing is drop to his knees keeping the trident pointed up and above his head level, jabing the other end into the ground he calls for his zanpaktou's first attack. "Tidal Crash" the water shoots from the ground and trident upwards to intersept the attack from above.
Now Mizu thinking that for this monstorous strength he may need to go to bankai to increase his speed, and not get distracted by the removal of a sword or anything else that he may find distracting durring this time

Ito unable to really change course at that point takes the brunt of the torrent of water blasting up at him. Sending him flipping backwards well off his mark as he lands on both feet drenched from head to toe. With a slight sigh Ito strips off the upper part of his clothing tossing it aside "Lets try that again," Ito says laughing moving again like before towards Mizu and even jumping the same everything from start to finish was the same.

What Mizu might not notice however was that mid jump Ito had performed Utsusemi and left afterimage hanging in a falling like look to mimic his earlier attack. While from behind a sweeping left leg would come around towards Mizu's waist. Along with a rather heavy open palm thrust towards his right shoulder. While not lethal the attack wasn't meant to cause damage but instead to disrupt a foes balance should both parts collide.

The downside to using such attacks was that the user was left largely open in the event they missed. For a onlooker it was a cross between a all out street brawling style and a refined martial art. Ito however mused silently to himself 'Wonder if he will fall for such a crude ploy, though no point in trying it a second time even if the first works he's the fast learner type probably'.

Ito forced back by the water, now soaked from head to toe, landing on both feet he takes off the clothing from his upper torso. Mizu thinking now 'perfect he is wet', then Ito says "lets try that again"

Mizu thinks 'hold on the same attack twice from the captain of squad 11.' Looking at the same attack he isnt fully convinced that this same attack is from Ito.

"OK then so be it" Mizu says aloud holding the trident infront of him and once again says "Tidal Crash!" However this time instead of being aimed at Ito to deflect the attack the water surrounds Mizu as a sort of defence. Almost as this is up he feels a cusioned kick to his side but takes a good bit of force from it and feels a bump on his shoulder.

"Ah i see what you were up to" Mizu says rubing his side "bit difficult to move in water isnt it?" he remarks to Ito
Now grining a mischevious grin "Since your all wet... Thunder!" A great amount of lightning is produced from the trident, Mizu raises it above his head spinning it rapidly causing the lightning to be discharded outwards, not caring if it hit him anyway, the lightning dancing all over the top of the hill and randomly shooting into the air.

Ito jumps back to little effect as the lightning still collided with him causing a cry of pain to come from him before he hits the ground on hands and knees breathing heavily his body etched from head to toe with the lighting's jagged shapes burned into his skin from the shear heat. "If I didn't know any better your trying to kill me," Ito says getting to his feet slowly left over sparks leaving his body with each movement.

With a shunpo Ito moves to his Zanpakutou picking it up deftly in his hand. "Well looks like you forced me to use my shikai at the least," Ito says before appearing back in front of Mizu. The blade still in its saya, but he quickly draws it while maintaining the same distance but bringing the blade up and out with the draw. The semi invisible part well within reach as it slices upwards through the air towards Mizu's left arm. Followed behind the slice however was something just as deadly the blade from the semi invisible region had let off a secondary vorpal blade of wind that moves towards Mizu at a moderately high rate.

Ito's face matching Mizu's with a devilish smile "Ten to chi:Oni kankō," he says softly bringing the blade back down with both hands and his entire being behind it to deliver a cross slash towards Mizu's chest. Like before a vorpal blade would be released towards whatever direction the blade was targeting.

Sparks jumping from Ito he gets to his feet saying "If I didn't know any better your trying to kill me," he gets his zanpaktou commenting on how he is forced to use his shikai. Using the blade to slash at Mizu's left arm

Mizu moving just in time for the clothes just to get cut, Ito now face to face with Mizu golding his arms down, says "Ten to chi:Oni kankō," slashing in a cross motion Mizu goes to avoid the attack but cannot completly

"AAAOWCH" he yells as the cross slash cuts into the skin in his chest. Mizu now standing with the blood coming from the wound, stabing the trident into the ground as if he were simply leaning on it, he glares at Ito and grins "my my my, i could say the same of you."

His glare turns to a mischevious smile once again and he wispers "tidal crash" The water firing out of the ground and surrounding Ito in a thick wall, he shunpo's to the opposite side of where he was standing and slashes the trident through the air "dance of blades," Several dozen sythe like blades form and launch themselves through the wall of water slashing as they go. "there Ito is that better for ya" he says to the water

Ito walks into the water as the scythe blade cut into his chest and back causing him to growl in pain and bleed. The wall of water quickly turns crimson as Ito begins slashing in many different directions causing a crude barrier of the vorpal blades of wind to form around him. As his body exits the wall of water the blades that where still held somewhat in place by the water fly off in their respective directions causing mass destruction to every area they finally collided with.

Two of which fly past Mizu as Ito breathes out heavily, his body slouched like usual and dripping with water and blood even the burns from the earlier attack where bleeding. No change in Ito's face really could be made out other than the fact that he was still smiling like a devil. "Not bad, pretty fancy Zanpakutou, Mines rather plain it only does what you have already seen, I can only make the attacks stronger or weaker depending on how hard I attack and what kind of movements I use," Ito says and laughs loudly while straightening up.

He gets back into the previous stance he had started with this time his hand on his Zanpakutou's hilt with it re-sheathed in its saya. His stance slowly eases up until its barely any different than his normal manner of holding himself. The second he begins to draw the blade his body lowers and he rockets forwards towards Mizu in a straight line one he reached melee range however he would vanish as quickly as if using shunpo with a side step around to Mizu's back bringing the unsheathed dull edge of the blade down towards, slightly off center of the spinal column.

{ooc: for clarification this would be a non lethal variation of shadowblade, as a just so you know since he doesn't really have to say anything before attacking.}

After the last attack Ito bloody and giving a howl in pain appeard to be enjoying himself. Ito exits the water in the mids of destruction around the area and behind Mizu.Ito driping in water and blood is slouched and says "Not bad, pretty fancy Zanpakutou, Mines rather plain it only does what you have already seen, I can only make the attacks stronger or weaker depending on how hard I attack and what kind of movements I use," then laughs and straightens up.

Forming a stance he resheaths his zanpaktou then lowers him self to speed at Mizu. Mizu holds out the trident to intersept but Ito vanishes, Mizu getting cut from behind down beside his spine curses loudly as the blade slashes the force, forcing him forward and he adds his own shunpo to it to gain some distance.

The combined force causing him to smash through several trees ontop of the hill rolling to a stop. Getting up bleeding and dirty he walks through the broken trees hoping over the last one, he smiles at Ito and pulls of his blood soaked jacket throwing it to the side "lets make this more intresing shall we"

Holding out his trident infront of him Mizu says loudly "BANKAI!" The trident glows and beging to deform and twist around Mizu's body forming metalic armour around his chest, arms and forehead. the metal around his hands forms claws on each hand, as the former trident stops glowing and comes to a rest forming his bankai around his hands and body with water and lightning circling and dancing all over the armour "Umi no Kaminari Ryu"

Clasping his hands together he smiles again "my unusual bankai for ya" he says getting ready for shunpo

Ito turns his head and looks over Mizu and his Bankai "Interesting indeed," he says with a interested tone.Turning around slowly Ito slowly brings his own Zanpakutou up "Haaa," Ito's voice bellows out like a vicious battle cry as his reiatsu sky rockets upwards "Bankai,"his voice calls out calmly as the Reiatsu intensifies massively causing his zanpakutou to explode violently in a maelstrom of wind and reiatsu before reappearing as two seemingly shorter Wakizashi though their reach was the same as the original katana.

"Haahahaa," Ito's voice echo's out coldly a wild change coming over his demeanor to the point the rising reiatsu finally coalesces around both wakizashi in the form of a tornado extending down the true length of the blade revealing it to be the exact same length as the previous katana. "Kurayami no naka o shūgeki," He says after the raging influx of reiatsu stops.

Ito straightens up slowly his eyes glazing over slightly "You got me all excited so I went ahead and released my Bankai, at its maximum output so you can see its real form," He says his voice smooth yet filled with a devious viciousness that was clearly the same as his Zanpakutou's spirit. A almost murderous joy filling the air around them and saturating Ito's Reiatsu. "You'll have to deal with the evil feeling you get from me, My Bankai brings out the darker side of me," Ito says towards Mizu.

With vicious chops towards Mizu despite attacking thin air two rather violent miniature tornado's leap from the tornado's surrounding his blades and rip across the ground towards Mizu rapidly. Leaving a deep trench in their wake as they rip apart the very ground they move across. Though Ito himself was standing in a large crater from just releasing his full power to give Mizu a run for his money.

Seeing the release of Ito's bankai Mizu remarks "my my you must be having fun" and laughs. Ito then begins slashing a nd causing what appears to be tornadoes to form. This makes Mizu think 'does he realise that his zanpaktou has a bit of the wind element in it'

Filled with excitement Ito's slashing causes deep trenches to be made in the ground and the tornado forms come towards Mizu.
Mizu getting forced back towards the already broken trees due to the force of the current. While this is happening he clasps his hands together "Aqua Light" a large Sphere of water and lightning miz forms infront of him, he then splits his hands causing the sphere to break into several smaller basket-ball sizes spheres. commanding them to move through the air they slam into the tornado forms causing both to dispurce.

Using his shunpo Mizu vanishes and reappears at the other side of ito and says with a mischevious grin "my turn..." again clasping his hands together "Aqua Light" once again the sphere is formed and he splits his hands causing several dozen basket-ball sized ones to be formes. Moving his fingers the spheres speed off towards Ito and begin to circle him at speed. Mizu grins again and this time even with a mischevious tone in his voice "there we go... my bankai does have more to offer... but first get out of that" he says as the rotation of the spheres gets faster

Ito watches the moving balls circling around him flipping his two wakizashi around in his hand he stabs them both down into the ground before jumping up and tearing the two blades back out sending earthen debris up and around himself. While hanging in the air for a brief moment he Shunpo's up beside Mizu.

Flipping the two blades back around in his hand Ito brings the left one in towards Mizu's arm the tornado on the blade itself more destructive than the one he had launched from it. A clean hit from any part of the wakizashi's was certain to deal horrendous damage. Though to make avoiding the attack harder the right wakizashi being stabbed forwards releasing another miniature tornado from the main one on it.

As before both attacks release a miniature tornado during their movements to fully assault Mizu. With a fold fold attack coming straight on towards Mizu's left side "If your going to prepare a trap cover all exits first you've forgotten to seal off the sky twice now in your attempt at trapping me,"Ito says his voice like usual though a bit more stern. Without any further warning adding to the lashing out Wakizashi and tornado's Ito's left foot would slam out to meet the rest of his attacks on Mizu's left side.

While watching the intense spar of theses two masters on the arts. Seaas spied an disturbance in the sky over Rukongai in the southern 56th district. She stood up from inside her trees she was in. A slit appeared in the sky but was still quite faint and she did sense some alarm. However most of the captains were off on who knows what and it might come down to the three of them to scout out what this is. Seaas walked calmly and easily towards the two combatants stopping on the edge of their battle.
OOC: Continue as if you dont notice any of this.

Ito easily escaping the spheres through the top of the spheres, he shunpo'd to Mizu launching an attack coming from the left and the front. Mizu doing his upmost to avoud the oncoming attack can only strike the blades themselves to minimise the damage.

Striking the blades with both hands he is forced back by the tornadoes and still manages to receive a gash on his side, causing him to growl in pain and wince in the process. Sliding to a stop he says to Ito "well done ya got out... but you forgot one thing... dispurce the spheres"

The spheres left behind speed towards Ito ,being more of a destraction than anything else. Mizu clasps his hands together "Storm Dragon," a great dragon forms made of water and lightning, easily bigger than a large house. Mizu grins again "Umi Kurasshu may be a bit shy, but he is anything but with this" he says while patting the leg of the dragon, the lightning dancing all over it and inside, while clutching his side with his free hand

Ito looks over the large creature for a moment before looking back at Mizu "Certainly don't see that every day," he says softly. Turning himself around he brings his Left Wakizashi across horizontally in order to destroy the incoming spheres. Ito looks around at the ground and anything else nearby.

"We might want to stop soon or there won't be a Sōkyoku Hill anymore," Ito says with a soft laugh. Though he still brings the Wakizashi back around in the case that Mizu decided to keep going. His eyes taking in both Mizu and his surroundings before spotting Seaas though he quickly reverts his attention back to Mizu. Ito brings his arms and legs into a defensive position while his eyes kept watch over both Mizu and the dragon.

Ito's wakizashi slowly move in to his sides as he flips the right one around in his hand so that is would be held backwards. Of course by that point Ito's wounds where bleeding more causing him irritation more so than pain since none of his where major by themselves.

Mizu looking at Ito's previous ligh of sight spots the squad 9's captain and thinks to himself 'wonder how long she has been there'

Looking to Ito he laughs "no you definatly dont see this every day" once again patting the dragon still clitching his side. "Yes you have a point there... looks like im going to be dispatching more of squad 10 to repair the hill"

Mizu thinks to himself if only i could of got of the ground this would of been alot more fun, he sighs "well if you would like to call it a day and continue some other day then ill gladly accept the chalange" he smiles to Ito.

He runs one of his claws over the wounds using the lightning to stop the bleeding "would you like the bleeding stopped before ya get treated later on... although the lightning has no effect on me, it will probobly cause you great discomfortand pain." He says as he finishes with his own wounds. his gaze then goes past Ito for a moment and he smiles "oh yea it appears that the captain of squad 9 has come to join us" and he keeps his dragon there beside him incase there is trouble and she has come to inform them of it

Ito laughs softly his reiatsu reverting to its full shikai state as his two Wakizashi vanish reforming in his right hand as a single blade.Jumping into the air he lands next to Mizu as the ground he had been standing on craters massively from the sharp drop in pressure being placed on it. "Well what did you think," he says as in the nearby distance the execution stand falls over missing half its left leg.

As the stand hit the ground the massive damage it had suffered caused it to explode leaving it in pieces and chunks of the death stone raining down on the three of them."One of my attacks obliterated the execution stand," Ito says while catching a falling piece of the stand and looking it over. "Squad 10 is going to be busy," he says and looks over the piece of stone a bit.


Walking over to his haori he slides it on causing it to make a sharp clack of wood from the lieutenant band sewn onto it. "Well Mizu no point in keeping them waiting ," he says loudly and appears next to seaas with a quick shunpo. While still a few feet away Ito was bleeding heavier with his bankai deactivated as the reiatsu pressure wasn't keeping the wounds partially closed any more. " I might need a medic after all," Ito says laughing softly with a slightly nervous tone.

Mizu laughs "indeed my squad will be busy... but there bord, there even trying to repair things that dont need repaired, and training lots so they may enjoy this" he laughs again scratching his head.

He then shunpos to Ito, leaving the dragon where it is it stands there with the sparks still dancing all over it. Bowing to the squad 9 captain "evening, but if you would excuse me a moment" he turns to Ito and says "this will hurt." Running his bankai's claws over Ito's wounds the lightning enters his body as well as stoping the bleeding

once he is done he smiles at Ito with the steam coming from his wounds "there that will do untill squad 4 deal with them appropiately" he laughs again while looking at the blood soaked Ito and then laughing at his blood soaked self

Ito reacts to the lighting in a very usual fashion and lets out a cry of pain almost falling over. His usually shaggy hair sticking up like a pin cushion. His face in full view for anyone to seen due to his hair standing on end. "Thanks I think," Ito says using his hands to try and comb his hair back down. The sight of the three captains standing there was a stark contrast in backgrounds.

With Mizu being the most familiar looking and Ito and Seaas being polar opposites in looks. "Whats with bowing to this captain he doesn't seem that special," Ito says a confused look on his face as he looks back and forth between the two. "I'm not going to even question the logic behind repairing something not broken, Lighting to heal that is the third most painful thing I've experienced today," he says shifting his body around a few times to get rid of the remaining feeling of the lighting. His hair finally combed down into its usual badly neglectfully kept appearance making himself look more shabbier and even more thug like.

Though as usual unless addressed he kept his attention on other things. Like his own Zanpakutou conversing with it in silence 'Not bad he has power, speed and the mind great talent in a few years he might surpass me if I don't keep training' Ito muses silently to himself his face not really showing any hint of him thinking or conversing with his weapon. Of course it was expected his face rarely changed to display his thoughts or emotions unless he purposely let them show.

Mizu laughs mostly at the sight of Ito's hair standing on end "well theres something else ya dont see everyday" releasing his bankai it forms back into it's sealed blade. The sealed blade being as unusual as his bankai, he keeps hold of it just incase trouble is coming.

"Yes lightning isnt the most plesant form of healing..." he rubs his head and laughs again "... but yea it dosnt affect me at all" With annother hell butterfly on his finger, after a moment it flies off in the direction of the squad 10 barracks. "Only the third most painful thing" he remarks with his head slightly tilted now.

Mizu glances to the sdky and notices the black slit and thinks to himself 'hmmm is this what seaas was coming to inform us of.' Keeping his zanpaktou out and clutching it doing his best not to look directly at the slit in the sky

"Yeah the first two where my Zanpakutou's spirit and paperwork,"Ito says laughing softly his eyes taking notice of the tear in the sky. "Another hollow attack on squad eleven's patrol districts it seems," He says sighing.

Turning around Ito faces seaas "Well, you going to say anything or give your opinion its a bit awkward with your silence," Ito says bluntly his speech becoming rude and rather ancient for a person of Japanese heritage. In short Ito spoke like a typical free spirited Samurai who had been given a education in the arts only to twist the originally royal and noble language into something crude yet direct.

Tilting his head from side to side the loud cracking of bone can be heard. His hands grip each shoulder in turn and he rotates the arm with more cracking sounds. From head to toe he goes about loosening up his body and joints causing resounding cracks. Until he flips back onto his feet walking off a bit from the two Ito brings his hands cutting through the air swiftly.

As he starts to practice his movements that begin like a finesse filled dance of pure destructive power and slowly transform into a refined yet cruder dance that took out all the useless movements to finally a completely crude brawling like style that was less a dance and more like a actual fight. After awhile of shifting between each style the movements become sharper and harder to see as he drops all the flashy and useless parts out of the movements creating a rather vicious and effective style that incorporated both shinigami and human fighting methodology.

For anyone who bothered to watch Ito during the Kata's would find that his pure physical form of hand to hand was his answer to the other shinigami's shunko, just as much as his Zanjutsu was his answer to typical kidou. being the only true shinigami skill he even used was shunpo and even then it was only for physical attacks or travel.

Watching on as Ito and his movements Mizu smiles and thinks to himself 'still looks like he had fun.' laughing at seemingly nothing in paticular probobly confusing the other two

A sigh of relief comes from him as his squad arrives to begin repairs. One of the squad rushes over to Mizu, "are you alright captain... we felt the tremours all the way in the barracks." Mizu laughs "Never worry Kero all is fine... but a couple of squad four members wouldnt go amiss"

The squad 10 member Kero nods to acknowledge he understands and leaves, the rest of the squad members begin making repairs on the hill top, begining with the Sokyoku itself.

Mizu then walks over to one of the broken trees and sits on it waiting and watching the squad work to fix the destruction they caused. Turning to Ito he says "told ya they were bord... just look at them smile and be all excited about doing this work." He glances to the black slit in the sky every so often to check how far it's advancing
